Members of the Los Angeles Times team that won the 2011 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service journalism spoke Nov. 30, 2011 at Stanford. Jeff Gottlieb, Ruben Vives and Paloma Esquivel discussed their stories exposing high-flying corruption in Bell, a small, poor L..A. suburb. The conversation was moderated by Knight Fellow T. Christian Miller, a reporter at ProPublica, and focused on the importance and impact of investigative journalism. The Pulitzer Prizes and the John S. Knight Journalism at Stanford co-sponsored the event.
