Chisala was born in Chingola, Zambia and earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Zambia. In 1997, he founded Moneynet Enterprises and started Zambia's first portal site, Zambia Online: www.zambia.co.zm. Today, Moneynet remains Zambia's leading online media company, developing sites for numerous organizations including one for The Post, Zambia's largest independent newspaper. As president and editor of Zambia Online, Chisala was also its first reporter covering a wide range of topics, including politics and economic development. His political articles have also been published in all the major newspapers of Zambia.
