Deepa Fernandes (’12) – Re-Engineering Journalism
Deepa Fernandes is a radio journalist on a mission: help people who are capturing news on their mobile phones learn basic journalism standards and gain technical skills — then connect them with traditional media who could use that content. In this talk, she describes the platform she and Knight Fellow Michelle Holmes are developing to do exactly that.
